Kin-iro Mosaic's Yui Hara Draws 'My Little Princess' 1-Shot Manga

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

Manga creator Yui Hara published a one-shot manga titled "Watashi no Chiisana Ohime-sama" ("My Little Princess") on Cygames' Cycomi manga website on Monday.

The comedy manga centers on two girls. Kanade Ōji is the school idol whom all the girls adore, while Tsukihi Soga is the girl who sees herself as a hidden rival to Kanade. Tsukihi fiercely opposes Kanade in everything, but Kanade somehow ends up following Tsukihi around.

Hara also draws the currently-running Kin-iro Mosaic four-panel comedy manga, which launched in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Max in 2010. Houbunsha published the manga's seventh volume last September. Yen Press is releasing the manga in English, and shipped the second volume on March 21.

The series inspired two anime series. The first anime series aired in 2013, and the second series, Hello!! KINMOZA, premiered in 2015. Crunchyroll streamed both seasons as they aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks released the first series on home video in 2014, and released the sequel last October. An anime special titled Kin-iro Mosaic: Pretty Days opened on 16 screens and ranked at #11 on its opening weekend in Japan last November.
