My Hero Academia Manga Takes 1-Week Break Due to Author's Health

This year's 28th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine won't publish a new chapter of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga on Monday as planned. The editorial staff is releasing a notice in the issue on Monday stating that the manga won't be in the issue due to Horikoshi's sudden illness. The editorial staff noted that the manga will return in the 29th issue, which will ship on June 19.
Horikoshi previously took a one-week break in the magazine's 15th issue in March due to illness.
Horikoshi launched the superhero manga series in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014, and Shueisha published the 14th compiled volume (pictured at right) in Japan on June 2. The manga's 13th and 14th compiled book volumes both bundled an original anime. Viz Media is publishing the manga digitally in its Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and in print.
The anime adaptation's second season premiered in Japanese with English subtitles on Crunchyroll and Hulu on April 1, and FunimationNow is streaming the English dub. The anime is listed with 25 episodes.
