Game Developer Cave Teases New Project

Game developer Cave (DoDonPachi Resurrection, Akai Katana) announced a new project currently titled "3jus" on Friday. The company opened a teaser website with a visual and introduction by writer Yūri Shibamura (Gunparade March, Touken Ranbu Online).
The introduction teases the start of a war born out of the majority's discontent with exploitation from the rich and powerful minority. War begins, the introduction says, when a discipline-conscious leader joins the majority's cause.
Cave was founded in 1994, and is mostly known for its shooting games. Aksys Games released Cave's Deathsmiles game for the Xbox 360 in 2010, and Rising Star Games released Akai Katana on the Xbox 360 in North America in 2012.
Cave launched an investigation into the alleged malpractice of a former company director in 2015. The company estimated a loss of approximately 29 million yen (US$240,000) due to the malpractice.
