Capcom to Develop Ace Attorney, Other Titles for Nintendo Switch

posted on by Karen Ressler

CAPCOM President Haruhiro Tsujimoto told news website Jiji in an interview on Friday that CAPCOM is developing new game software for release on the Nintendo Switch console in fiscal year 2018 (starting April 2018). He cited Ace Attorney as one example, as it has been popular inside and outside Japan.

CAPCOM rereleased the first three Ace Attorney games — Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney − Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney − Trials and Tribulations — in a combo pack for Nintendo 3DS in 2014. CAPCOM will also rerelease Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney for 3DS this month. The most sixth and most recent game in the main series, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice (Gyakuten Saiban 6), shipped in Japan in June 2016, and CAPCOM released the game digitally in North America and Europe.
