Tokyo Comic Con Attracts 42,793 Attendees Across 3 Days

Next year's event scheduled for November 30-December 2

The Tokyo Comic Con event drew 42,793 attendees across all three days from December 1-3. The number surpassed the more than 30,000 attendees from last year, in the event's debut year. In addition, it has scheduled next year's event for November 30-December 2, 2018. Like this year's event, it will again take place at Chiba's Makuhari Messe.

More than 150 companies participated in the event, up from 111 last year.

The Batman Ninja project, Shinji Higuchi's Hisone to Masotan project with Mari Okada and BONES, the Ultraman anime, and Trigger's SSSS.Gridman anime all made announcements during the event.
