Hakuoki: Edo Blossoms Heads to PC in Spring

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

Idea Factory International announced on Monday that it will release the Hakuōki: Edo Blossoms (Hakuōki Shinkai: Hana no Shō) game on the PC via Steam this spring, in addition to its upcoming PlayStation Vita release. The Steam release will have Japanese audio, with English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese text.

The game will launch for the PS Vita on March 13 in North America, and on March 16 in Europe. The game will be available physically and digitally.

Hakuōki: Edo Blossoms originally launched in Japan in June 2016.

The game is a sequel to Hakuōki: Kyoto Winds (Hakuōki Shinkai: Kaze no Shō), which Idea Factory released for the PS Vita in Japan in September 2015. Idea Factory International released the game in North America and Europe last May. The company later released the game for PC via Steam last August.

Both Hakuōki: Kyoto Winds and Hakuōki: Edo Blossoms remake the original Hakuōki Shinsengumi Kitan 2008 PlayStation 2 game.
