NISA Launches Assault Spy Indie Game on Steam Early Access

NIS America announced on Monday that it has launched the Assault Spy indie game on Steam Early Access for US$19.99. The game launched in Japan for Early Access at the same time.

Assault Spy is NISA's first Early Access title. The program allows developers to post in-progress titles for purchase or play. Games on Early Access are still considered full games, so buying a game is not the same as a pre-purchase of the final version.

NISA describes the story:

Dash, evade, and smash your way to the truth as the corporate spy, Asaru; or the reckless CIA agent, Amelia! Uncover the dark secrets of the Negabot mega corporation as you save the company from a hostile takeover. Assault Spy is a stylish, fast paced, pure-action game with a dash of comedy.

Japanese indie developer Wazen is developing the game. Wazen worked on RPG Maker projects before creating his first indie game in college. He later joined a game development company, but later decided to return to being an indie developer. Assault Spy marks Wazen's return as an indie developer.
