Boarding School Juliet Anime Debuts on Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime added the first episode of the television anime of Yōsuke Kaneda's school romantic comedy manga Boarding School Juliet (Kishuku Gakkō no Juliet). The service is exclusively streaming the anime in Japan and overseas.

The official website began streaming the anime's opening sequence.

The 12-episode anime premiered in the Animeism block on TBS on Friday late at night at 1:25 a.m. (effectively Saturday morning), before airing a half hour later on MBS. The show will also air on BS-TBS.

Amazon Prime describes the story:

At Dahlia Academy, a prestigious boarding school on a remote island, students from two feuding countries battle each other every day. However, Romio Inuzuka, the leader of the Touwa dorm, and Juliet Persia, the leader of the West dorm, start a secret relationship!

Seiki Takuno (Love and Lies, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Poco's Udon World) is directing the anime at Liden Films. Fumiaki Usui (assistant director for Love and Lies, Sekkō Boys, Poco's Udon World) is the assistant director, and Takao Yoshioka (Watamote, Wagnaria!!2, Ikki Tousen) is both overseeing and writing the scripts. Yūki Morimoto (Miss Monochrome, Miss Monochrome - The Animation- 2) is designing the characters for animation, and Masaru Yokoyama (Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Kabukibu!, Your Lie in April) is composing the music.
