Rosario + Vampire's Ikeda, Gag Manga Biyori's Masuda Collaborate on 1-Shot Manga

The November issue of Shueisha's Jump SQ. magazine revealed on Thursday that manga creators Kōsuke Masuda and Akihisa Ikeda will collaborate on a one-shot manga titled "Shitabashiri" that will debut in the magazine's next issue on November 4. The manga will be a horror story, and it will have a color opening page. Masuda is writing the story, and Ikeda will draw the manga.
Masuda drew the Gag Manga Biyori manga, which inspired three television anime seasons in 2005, 2006, and 2008. Masuda followed up the manga with the Masuda Kōsuke Gekijō Gag Manga Biyori manga in Jump SQ. in 2014, and it is ongoing. The manga inspired the Masuda Kōsuke Gekijō Gag Manga Biyori+ television anime in 2010.
Ikeda published the Rosario + Vampire manga in Shueisha's Monthly Shonen Jump magazine from 2004 to 2007, and Shueisha published 10 compiled book volumes for the manga. Ikeda published the Rosario + Vampire Season II manga in Jump SQ. from 2007 to 2014, and Shueisha published 10 volumes for the manga. Viz Media published all volumes of both manga. The original manga inspired two television anime seasons in 2008.
