Goblin Slayer Episode 11 to Air on December 22, After Recap Episode This Week

posted on by Egan Loo

The 10th Goblin Slayer television anime episode announced this past weekend that a special recap episode, "Bōkensha Kiroku Yōshi" ("Adventurer Sheet" or literally, Adventurers' Journal Sheets), will air on Saturday, December 15. Episode 11 will instead air one week later on December 22, followed by episode 12 on December 29. The December 15 special episode will recount the adventures thus far of the Goblin Slayer and the others, from the viewpoint of the Cow Girl.

The Goblin Slayer anime, based on Kumo Kagyu's light novel series of the same name, premiered in Japan on October 6. Crunchyroll is streaming the series with subtitles, and Funimation is also streaming it with an English dub. The anime's website had previously listed the anime's three Blu-ray Disc/DVD releases with a total of 12 episodes.

Yen Press has licensed both the novels and Kōsuke Kurose's manga adaptation, and it describes the series:

A young priestess has formed her first adventuring party, but almost immediately they find themselves in distress. It's the Goblin Slayer who comes to their rescue--a man who's dedicated his life to the extermination of all goblins, by any means necessary. And when rumors of his feats begin to circulate, there's no telling who might come calling next...

Takaharu Ozaki (Persona 5 the Animation -The Day Breakers-, Girls' Last Tour) is directing the anime at WHITE FOX. Hideyuki Kurata (Read or Die, Made in Abyss, Kamichu!) is in charge of series composition and is penning the scripts alongside Yousuke Kuroda (Jormungand, My Hero Academia). Takashi Nagayoshi (Girls' Last Tour animation director) is designing the characters.
