'Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ardyn Prologue' Short Anime Reveals Key Art

The official Twitter account for Square Enix's Final Fantasy XV game revealed the key art and logo on Friday for the "Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ardyn Prologue" short anime. A trailer for the anime will premiere on Saturday at 9:00 p.m. JST (7:00 a.m. EST).
Final Fantasy XV "Episode Ardyn" DLC director Takefumi Terada stated the anime will "provide context as to why Ardyn became wild for revenge." The short animation will debut before the "Episode Ardyn" DLC is released in March 2019.
Square Enix cancelled the development on the planned "Episode Aranea," "Episode Lunafreya," and "Episode Noctis" DLC.
The Final Fantasy XV game released the game's multiplayer component, Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades, as a standalone game on Thursday. The game also launched its collaboration with the Final Fantasy XIV game on Thursday.
