Alicesoft Job Recruitment Ad Hints at Expansion into Adult 'Social' Games
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Adult game developer Alice Soft posted an advertisement for a job listing on December 27 for a programmer for an adult "social game" (a Japanese term for mobile games). The job will be for programming the game's servers or the front end (the software and user interface that users interact with). The listing also noted that Alice Soft will continue to produce PC games even while undertaking the new game project.
Alice Soft is best known for its long-running Rance game series, which began in 1989, with the latest installment Rance X debuting in 2018. The franchise has been adapted into two previous adult anime videos. The company's other works have also been adapted into adult video anime and released in North America, including Wife Eater, Tournament of the Gods, Square of the Moon, Genmukan: The Sin of Desire & Shame, Darcrows, Daiakuji - The Xena Buster, and Beat Angel Escalayer.
MangaGamer announced last July that it will release Alice Soft's Rance IX and Rance X games. The publisher also released Alice Soft's Evenicle game last June.
