Made in Abyss Art Director Osamu Masuyama Works with Crunchyroll on New Project

Made in Abyss art director Osamu Masuyama revealed during Crunchyroll's livestream for its The Anime Awards on Saturday that he is working on a new project with Crunchyroll. Masuyama did not provide any further details about the project.

Masuyama has also served as the art director for the Miyori in the Sacred Forest anime special and as the assistant art director for The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. He has also worked on the background art or the art design for your name., Spirited Away, Tales from Earthsea, Eden of the East, The Cat Returns, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea, Howl's Moving Castle, and From Up On Poppy Hill, among others.
