Aniplex USA Releases Monogatari Series Second Season Anime on Blu-ray in June

Aniplex of America announced on Friday that it will release the Monogatari Series Second Season anime on Blu-ray Disc for the first time on June 25. The release will include all 28 English-subtitled episodes that include the Nekomonogatari (White), Hanamonogatari, Onimonogatari, Kabukimonogatari, Otorimonogatari, and Koimonogatari anime. The box set will retail for US$269.98. Aniplex of America also began streaming a trailer for the release.
The anime based on NisiOisin's Monogatari Series light novels premiered in 2013. Daisuki and Crunchyroll both streamed the series as it aired.
Akiyuki Shinbo directed the series and acted as series script supervisor along with Fuyashi Tou. Akio Watanabe served as character designer and chief animation director at SHAFT, and Satoru Kousaki handled the music. The cast returned from Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari.
