Dr. Stone Artist Boichi's Origin Manga Gets New Chapter

Amazon is listing this year's 27th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine with a cover image that reveals that Boichi's Origin manga will receive a special chapter, titled Origin Gaiden, in the issue on Monday. The chapter will celebrate the manga winning the grand prize in the Manga division of the 22nd Japan Media Arts Festival Awards in March.
The manga's 10th and final volume will ship on June 6. The Dr. Stone manga artist launched the series in Young Magazine in September 2016 and ended it this past February.
The original manga's story takes place in 2048, at a time when Japan is connected to Eurasia via a transcontinental railroad. Tokyo has become a hotbed of terrorism and crime, and mysterious beings attack people night after night. The manga follows Origin, a robot who hunts these beings.
