Val x Love Anime to Have 12 Episodes

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ryousuke Asakura's Val x Love (Ikusa x Koi) manga is listing that the anime will have four home video releases and 12 total episodes.

The anime premiered on Saturday. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series, and HIDIVE is streaming the series as it airs.

Takashi Naoya is (Luck & Logic, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru, Real Girl) is directing the anime at Hoods Entertainment. Tatsuya Takahashi (The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko, Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles) is supervising the series' scripts. Kiyoshi Tateishi (animation director for Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie) is the character designer and chief animation director. TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND (Witch Craft Works, Kakegurui, Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san) is composing the music.

Rikako Aida is performing the opening theme song "for...," and the voice cast members for the anime's nine Valkyrie sisters are performing the ending theme song "Up-Date x Please!!" in groups of three. The ending will have three versions and change every episode.
