Kakushigoto Manga Has 'Little Bit Left'

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

The 10th compiled book volume of Kōji Kumeta's Kakushigoto manga revealed on Friday that the manga only has "a little bit left." In Kumeta's comment in the manga, he noted that the anime, manga, the author, and the readers will all hold hands to run a victory lap toward the goal. The manga's 11th volume is slated for mid- to late-March.

The 10th volume also revealed that the manga is inspiring a television anime adaptation.

The comedy manga story centers on Kakushi Gotō, who doesn't want his daughter, Hime Gotō, to know that he is a manga creator. The manga's comedy focuses on the daily life of a family with a manga artist. In addition to being a word play on the father's name, the ambiguous title can mean "Hidden Things," but can also be read as "Drawing Job."

The manga received a promotional video animated by SHAFT in June 2016.
