Madoka Magica 3rd-Person Shooter App With Homura Unveiled

The character goods store chain Animate opened a teaser site on Thursday to unveil a Puella Magi Madoka Magica TPS Featuring Homura Akemi app for Android devices in Japan. The game will be available for 600 yen (about US$7.70) this month.
In the game, the player gets three lives to control the magical girl Homura and clear stages. The player begins with a normal handgun, but progresses to more potent weapons and magic later in the game. Players can also pick up items to restore their health and purify Homura's Soul Gem. The game has three difficulty levels, and as the player defeats each stage boss, images from notable anime scenes will be unlocked in the game's gallery page.
Namco Bandai Games released a separate Mami no Dokidoki Tiro Finale (Mami's Heart-Pounding Tiro Finale) iOS/Android smartphone game for free in October. That free game was created to promote the March 15 release of the PSP game Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable.
