Kyushu's Nishinippon Shimbun newspaper's Ghost in the Shell: Arise website is reimagining Fukuoka's capital city 13 years in the future. The image shows Fukuoka landmarks like the Fukuoka Dome, Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk, and Fukuoka Tower with a futuristic twist. The image is available as a wallpaper to download.
The collaboration between a local newspaper to promote an anime project is a first for Japan.
