Kakureya Secret Gaming Base Gets Upgrades and Price Cut

Japanese furniture Cozy Room debuted its Kakurenya II ("hiding room II") model on Monday with upgrades and a price cut from the version released in June. Cozy Room said that the units would drop from 798,000 yen (US$7,823) to 398,800 yen (US$3,910) if it went into mass production.

Kakureya II now includes a reclining seat and adjustable height table. Kakureya II measures 120 centimeters wide, 125 centimeters long, and 150 centimeters tall (or 3'11'' x 4'1'' x 4'11''). Additional parts, like shelving, an AV board, and other storage to go inside the unit, as well as the shown electronics, are sold separately.

Each Kakurenya II is made to order and ships about one month after the order is placed.
