Love Live's Rin Celebrates Her Role as Sega's Image Girl With Sonic the Hedgehog
posted on by Bamboo Dong
Earlier in the year, Love Live!'s Rin Hoshizora took home the title of Sega Image Girl as part of a Love Live! x Sega and AG Square campaign. It's only fitting that she celebrate with another one of Sega's most notable characters, Sonic the Hedgehog.

From December 19 to February 2, 2015, UFO catcher and medal games at participating Sega and AG Square arcades will be stocked with special Rin + Sonic goods, including Rin ramen and clear files of the dynamic duo, as well as clear files of the μ's girls from the "KiRa-KiRa Sensation!" and "Dancing stars on me!" singles. Other prizes include a Rin and Sonic mini-standee, as well as standees of the girls from the "Sore wa Bokutachi no Kiseki" single.

Those who play the UFO catcher and medal games enough times can rack up points to get more Rin and Sonic prizes, like a big sticker, a clear poster, a special acrylic stage for your figures, or a Rin and Sonic figure. While the figure seems like a fun toy to add to your collection, each 500 yen UFO catcher play only yields one point, making the figure ring up at 20,000 yen (about US$170).
