Working Women Pick NANA as the Best Band Manga

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

The "Entertainment Research Institute" asked 181 working women about their favorite bands, specifically those appearing in anime and manga. Despite the large variety of series to choose from, 40.3% percent of participants declared Ai Yazawa's NANA the best. One of the series' two protagonists is the lead singer of the fictional band BLACK STONES. The character's singing voice was provided by Anna Tsuchiya in the anime adaptation while competing band TRAPNEST was led by real singer Olivia.
