Sailor Moon's Rainbow Moon Chalice Paper Clip Holder Will Cost You 8,640 Yen

The latest item in the Sailor Moon merchandise parade is a recreation of the Rainbow Moon Chalice from Sailor Moon S. The power-up item won't transform you into the Messiah but it will hold special gold-plated paper clips. Each hand-painted chalice comes with 12 gold-plated celestial paper clips.
Premium Bandai is accepting pre-orders for 8,640 yen (about US$72).
If the item looks familiar, it might be because Premium Bandai announced an earlier Rainbow Moon Chalice as a scent diffuser last year (pictured below). That version held a "Serenity Bouquet" perfume gel ball and started shipping this month for 5,184 yen (US$43).
