Fist of the North Star Celebrates Father's Day

Souther stars on maternity magazine covers
To celebrate Father's Day, Strawberry Flavored Fist of the North Star, a parody manga of the classic action series Fist of the North Star, is appearing on the cover of two maternity magazines, Tamago Club and Hiyoko Club, in their June issues. On both, Emperor Souther tries his hand at child-rearing. They are both drawn by Imōto Yukito, the artist of Strawberry Flavored Fist of the North Star. Father's Day in Japan falls on June 21.
"I'm the Holy Emperor, I won't even neglect child-rearing!"
"Don't go away! Don't flatter! Don't look back! There's no escape from fatherhooood!!"
The Tamago Club issue ("Exclusively for Husbands") carries child-rearing tips for first-time fathers, while the Hiyoko Club issue ("Father Child-Rearing Dōjō") has advice from celebrity fathers like the kickboxer Masato and the soccer star Yoshito Ōkubo.
