Say hello to Mentaiko Kusanagi in her new promotional collaboration.

Sci-fi anime classic Ghost in the Shell is teaming up with seafood production company Umeya to sell some fish. Their mentaiko (marinated pollock or cod roe), is used in many Japanese dishes, and is currently being sold in special Ghost in the Shell: Arise Alternative Architecture packaging. The special packaging features protagonist Motoko Kusanagi against an overview of a futuristic Fukuoka, the setting of the anime.
Fukuoka is also the home of karashi mentaiko, a common spicy variety of the food.

The mentaiko comes with a special postcard that shows off Motoko in action with a firearm at the ready.
This year, Ghost in the Shell celebrates its 25th anniversary since the premiere of its first iconic film. Ghost in the Shell: Arise Alternative Architecture serves as a recompilation of the Ghost in the Shell Arise original video animee as well as some new content.
