College Student Covers Bulletin Board with Nico Yazawa Birthday Flyers

Nico Yazawa, a character from Love Live! School idol project, celebrated her birthday on July 22. Ardent Love Live! fans ("Livers") shared their congratulations on Twitter with the hashtag #矢澤にこ生誕祭2015 (Nico Yazawa's Birthday 2015). #矢澤にこ (Nico Yazawa) also trended, accumulating over 900,000 tweets and #誕生日 (Birthday) was not far behind. The Twitter activity earned a mention on NHK's News Web program, which regularly presents a cloud of trending tweets.
The hosts also discussed an incident at Shinshū University in Matsumoto, where a Liver covered an entire bulletin board with pink flyers gushing about Nico and celebrating her birthday. The flyers, which were posted without permission and obscured important information, were quickly taken down and the culprit was summoned for a scolding.
