'Oil King' Spotted Among Throngs at Comiket

An unusual figure was spotted among the crowds at this weekend's Comiket: a suited, bearded man wearing a keffiyeh (Arab headdress) surrounded by several bodyguards, all decked out in suits and sunglasses. He quickly drew attention and was nicknamed "the Oil King."

The Oil King milled about the convention center buying comics like the other attendees. He seems to have an interest in Kantai Collection and bought a dōjinshi on hydrogen bombs. He paid vendors with these elaborate envelopes.

The Oil King's true identity, however, remains uncertain.
