Prince of Tennis author Takeshi Konomi recently tweeted about the popular character's birthday.
His tweet states: "I'm glad that so many of you took the time to celebrate Keigo's birthday! I'm truly grateful to the fans and even Suwabe (Keigo's voice actor in the anime) and the cast of the Prince of Tennis musical."
Shortly after that tweet, however, Konomi posted something quite interesting.

Tweet: "Oh, yeah! There's a special project in preparation for his birthday next year. It's been 14 years in production! I'd love for everyone to celebrate then too!"
Konomi offered no other details on the project, other than that fans will have to wait one whole year for it to be brought to light.
Interestingly enough, next year would mark the 15th anniversary of the anime's first episode back in October of 2001.
