Splatoon Plushies Go On Sale in December

The kid-squid creatures of Splatoon are making a splash as cuddly buddies.
Characters from the popular Wii U third-person shooter game are being made into small-sized plushies for releasein December. Four variations have been announced.
The first two are the base player Inklings in both girl and boy versions. Each comes armed with a replication of the standard weapon in the game, the Splattershot.
The other two models represent the in-game idol group and game news hosts, the Squid Sisters. Both Callie and Marie (Aori and Hotaru in the Japanese version) will be available. Each sister has been designed with adorable accuracy from their idol uniforms down to the beauty marks on each of their cheeks.
Each plushie will go for 2,500 yen (about US$21).
