Prince of Tennis Creator Signs Exclusive Performing Contract with Shueisha

Takeshi Konomi to star in January stage show
Takeshi Konomi, the manga artist best known for Prince of Tennis, has signed an exclusive artist contract with Shueisha.
He is already slated to appear at a one-man live performance, "Takeshi Konomi Surprise Live ~One-Man TeniPuri Festa~," on January 16 at the Toyosu Pit concert hall in Toyosu, Tokyo. Tickets are now available for pre-order on the Japanese online box office e+ for 6,260 yen ($51).
Konomi has enjoyed success beyond manga as a singer; his previous CD releases include TeniPuri o Sasaete Kurete Arigatō ("Thank You for Supporting The Prince of Tennis").
