Marvel's Avengers Get A Korean Adaptation with Avengers K

Marvel is offering its fans a fresh new way to follow their favorite heroes with Avengers K, a collaborative effort with Korean publisher Daewon C.I. that retells the first battle between Ultron and the Avengers as told by South Korean manhwa writers and artists.

Said David Gabriel, Marvel SVP, Print & Digital Publishing, "Partnered with Daewon, Marvel is poised to introduce the international comic book community a bold reimagining of one of the most iconic Avengers stories ever told through the vibrant and action-packed manhwa format presented for our English-speaking fans for the very first time."

The first volume of the five-volume series will be released May 24, 2016, and is available to pre-order on Amazon. Spanning 168 pages, the comic is written by Si Yeon Park, with art by Woo Bin Choi and Jae Sung Lee, Min Ju Lee, Jae Woong Lee, Hee Ye Cho, Ji Hee Choi, and In Young Lee.
