Indulge Your Love of Pointy Chins with Gakuen Handsome Goods

Gakuen Handsome, the firmly tongue-in-cheek boys-love game, has a substantial fanbase in Japan, despite (or perhaps because of) its janky artwork. Fans of Sakuya, the purple-haired, sharp-chinned soccer prodigy, now have a bevy of goods to indulge their appreciation.

There's an A2 poster (16.5 × 23.4'') advertising Sakuya's character song, "Legend of Sexy," which will go on sale on February 4. It says "Yokubō wa Kitto TO ME DO Night," which roughly translates to "Your desire is surely TO ME DO night." It will cost 540 yen ($4.55).

There's a T-shirt featuring Sakuya as seen in the recently released music video. It will be available in seven different sizes.

There's also this more risque option, the "summer date version," based on one of Sakuya's "avant-garde" outfits. Both shirts cost 3,132 yen ($26.39).

Fans of the letter H may get a kick out of these tote bags advertising Sakuya's record label, Handsome Records. They cost 1,620 yen ($13.65).

Sakuya may not actually appear on the bag, but they come with these badges depicting scenes from the music video. They can also be bought separately as a set for 2,400 yen ($20.20).

These items can be bought starting January 18 at the Handsome Store or at the Animate store in Sendai, where Tōhoku Penet, the game's developer, is headquartered. The poster is a Handsome Store exclusive.

Finally, the full-length version of the "Legend of Sexy" music video will be premiered at the Sendai Animate on January 17 at 1 PM, with another showing at 3 PM and at the same hours on January 31. Those who attend will be treated to a special message from Sakuya as well. Tōhoku Penet is also looking for other venues to screen the video.

Gakuen Handsome follows several (supposedly) good-looking characters at an elite boys' school. An animated version premiered in August.
