Fans Pick the 5 Best Winter 2016 Anime Theme Songs

Last month, Mora Topics ran a Twitter poll with the hashtag "#俺的2016最強冬アニソン" (#Oreteki2016SaikyōFuyuAnison, My Strongest 2016 Winter Anisong) to see what is this season's strongest anime theme song. Over 5,000 users weighed in with their favorites.

The results are:

1. "Niji wo Ametara" by fhána (Haruchika – Haruta & Chika OP)
2. "Ten Kakeru Hoshi" by Suara (Utawarerumono: The False Faces OP2)
3. "fantastic dreamer" by Machico (KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!! OP)
4. "Orphans no Namida" by MISIA (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans ED)
5. "Yoru wa Nemureru kai?" by flumpool (Ajin OP)

There was some ulterior initiative to participate in the poll. Mora and WebMoney were offering a Hi-Res WALKMAN at random to one lucky participant. It's also worth noting that the chosen hashtag uses the masculine "Ore." This doesn't mean the results aren't representative of both sexes but men may have been more likely to participate given the chosen marketing strategy.
