Babymetal Idol Group's Stephen Colbert Appearance Confirmed

The official website for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert confirmed the Japanese idol group Babymetal will appear on the show tonight.
The group's American distributor RED announced in February that the group was confirmed to appear on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert the week of the album's April 1 release. Since the announcement, the information was removed from RED's website for the album, raising doubts that the group would still appear.
The trio's world tour kicked off with a performance at The SSE Arena Wembley in London on April 2. The tour will then head to the United States on May 4 with stops in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, and more. A European leg will start in June.
In 2014, Hatsune Miku made her late night talk show debut by performing on The Late Show with David Letterman. Colbert replaced Letterman on the program last year.
