Texas-based a cappella group Pentatonix and voice actor Daisuke Ono are being featured together in a new program screening at Konica Minolta Planetarium in the Sunshine City building complex located in East Ikebukuro.
The "Star Flight Hokkaido" program is narrated by Ono while the Pentatonix is providing the music. The program will launch on June 11 and runs for about 40 minutes. It offers views of the Hokkaido cityscape beginning 150 years ago until today.
The Pentatonix is a two-time Grammy award winning group and the only a capella group to win the award. They will perform at Japan's Summer Sonic 2016 festival in Osaka on August 21.
Daisuke Ono is, coincidentally, voicing the main character of the upcoming planetarian net anime and film based on Key/Visual Art's' kinetic novel. He's currently starring in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable as Jōtarō Kūjō, Terraformars Revenge as Keiji Onizuka, and Magi: Adventure of Sinbad as Sinbad.
