Poll Picks the Top 10 Anime Ending Sequences

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

In a follow-up to yesterday's Top 10 Anime Openings, the Anime! Anime! website also asked its readers to select their idea of the coolest anime ending sequences. Like the previous poll, choices were solicited on Twitter before the survey went up with the top 22 endings. A total of 766 men and women participated in the poll.

The Top 10 results are:

  1. "Sugar Song to Bitter Step" by UNISON SQUARE GARDEN (Blood Blockade Battlefront)
  2. "Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari" by supercell (Bakemonogatari)
  3. "Namae no nai Kaibutsu" by EGOIST (Psycho-Pass)
  4. "Tutti!" by Tomoyo Kurosawa, Ayaka Asai, Chika Anzai, & Moe Toyota (Sound! Euphonium)
  5. "Refrain Boy" by ALL OFF (Mob Psycho 100)
  6. "Trust Me" by Yūya Matsushita (Durarara!!)
  7. "HIDE AND SEEK" by Kenichi Suzumura (Handa-kun)
  8. "Wind" by Akeboshi (Naruto)
  9. "Orphans no Namida" by MISIA (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans)
  10. "futuristic imagination" by School Food Punishment (Eden of the East)

Like it's opening counterpart, many of the choices come from within the last 10 years, although the majority of the ending selection is even more recent within the last five. Only the first Naruto ending is older than 10 years.
