Two Part Anime Shorts Promote the Future of Fuel Cells

Ene-Farm, a company best known for providing household fuel cells, has produced the first of a two part anime short to promote the future of its energy technology.
Titled "Ima no Watashi ni dekiru koto…" (Now I can do this...), the anime takes place in 2102 where future has advanced beyond what was imagined in the 21st century and in 2016. 17-year-old Nami (Hitomi Harada) is a high school girl living everyday happily without much thought. A recent increase in "guerrilla heavy rains" has caused to her start worrying a little. She encounters 10-year-old Yō (Ayami Tsukui), a mysterious girl from the near future.
Michio Fukuda is writing and directing the shorts with character designs by Rika Ōta at Linden Films and color design by Yoriko Matsumori at TYO Animations. Minami Kasuga (Kusanagi) is the art director and TYO Animations is producing the animation. The second part is slated for November.
