Kirito & Asuna Eat at Wagnaria Restaurant in Sword Art Online Film

PlayStation Network users in Japan got a sneak peek at the Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale anime film last week when the first 12 minutes were put up to watch for free. In the clip, viewers quickly noticed that Kirito and the crew sit down for a bite to eat in a familiar restaurant.
It looks like the family restaurant Wagnaria!! from the manga and anime series Working!! is still successful in the not-so-distant future. Fans are wondering if Sword Art Online and Working!! exist in the same universe or if the reference is merely a little joke since both anime series share the same character designer, Shingo Adachi.
Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale will open in Japan on February 18 in 150 theaters. It will then screen in United States theaters for a one-night event on March 9. Prior to the wide release, Aniplex of America will host a premiere event in Hollywood, California on March 1. It will also screen in Canada from March 17-19.
The WWW.WAGNARIA!! spin-off anime series aired in October and Crunchyroll and Daisuki streamed the series as it aired in Japan.
