Ads Show Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links Hair in Everyday Situations

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links game launched for iOS and Android devices in Japan on November 17, and as of Friday, it has been downloaded more than 33,330,000 times. The game's official website began streaming two "Fighting?" promotional videos on Friday.
In the first video, a teacher interrogates high school students who think only about Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. The principal shows up and surprises them all with his interest in the game. In the second video, the students are posing for a photo before a school trip. The teacher appears to get angry with their continued obsession with the smartphone game, but he shocks and delights them by pulling out his own phone to show he now also likes Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links.
Poster ads for the game are also on display in Tokyo's Shibuya Station. The ads show high school students and young adults wearing Yugi Mutou's trademark hair in their everyday lives. Twitter users posted pictures of the posters.
Yugi topped Charapedia's poll of anime characters with crazy hairstyles in 2015.
