More Details Announced for Shōnen Jump 50th Anniversary Exhibition

Shueisha announced more details for its upcoming "Weekly Shonen Jump Exhibition" covering the magazine's launch and into the 1980s. Next year marks the 50th anniversary of Weekly Shōnen Jump, Shueisha's male-targeted magazine known for serializing some of the industry's most popular manga series.

The first part of the event will launch on July 18 and run until October 15 at the Tokyo Mori Arts Center Gallery. It will cover series like Hiroshi Motomiya's Otoko Ippiki Gaki Daisho, Masami Kurumada's Saint Seiya, Buronson and Tetsuo Hara's original Fist of the North Star, Yudetamago's Kinnikuman, and Akira Toriyama's works including Dragon Ball.

The exhibition's next two parts are slated for next year.
