PETA's Protests Nintendo's Cow-Milking 1-2-Switch Mini Game

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

The animal rights group PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) posted a letter on its official Facebook page criticizing Nintendo's 1-2-Switch Milk mini game on March 30. The group has previously drawn attention to Nintendo properties like Super Mario 3D Land and parodied the battles in the Pokemon franchise to point a finger at McDonald's fast food.

The letter from group president Ingrid Newkirk states that the mini game takes out "all the cruelty out of milking" and asks the company for realism.

Nintendo has responded to the Pokemon campaigns in the past, leading the group to state its flash games were "tongue-in-cheek."

The challenges in 1-2-Switch include: Baby, Wizard, Telephone, Soda, Shaver, Runway, Liar Dice, Sword Fight, Joy-Con Rotation, Quick Draw, Milk, Beach Flag, Eating Contest, Count Balls, Shinken Shiraha-tori (Real Naked Sword Catching), Ping Pong, Safe Cracker, Copy Dance.
