Collaboration visuals featuring characters from various shows shown at real life locations around the city of Kyoto have also been released on the event website and Twitter account.

First up is characters from Yutaka Yamamoto's Wake Up, Girls! shown on the bank of the Kamo River. The original Wake Up, Girls! anime premiered in 2014 and was followed by two sequel films and a spin-off original net anime. The series will be getting a new television anime sometime this year.

Second is The Eccentric Family 2 x the Kyoto City Hall. The first season of The Eccentric Family aired in 2013, and the second season began airing on April 9. It is being streamed by Crunchyroll.

The third image is Ojarumaru x the Sanzen-in Temple. Ojarumaru, also known as Prince Mackaroo, is a long-running children's anime about a boy from the Heian period who is accidentally transported to modern Japan. It has been released in several countries in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, but it has not had an English release.

Next is Katsugeki! Touken Ranbu x the Bamboo Forest in Arashiyama. The Katsugeki! Touken Ranbu anime, which is based on the video game Touken Ranbu, will premiere this July. It will be streamed by Aniplex of America.

Next up is Magical Circle Guru Guru x the Kifune Shrine. Magical Circle Guru Guru is a gag manga parodying role-playing games that has inspired two anime series and an anime film. It will be getting a new television anime series from Production I.G this summer.

The last image is Detective Conan x the Togetsukyō bridge. The new Detective Conan film, Meitantei Conan Kara Kurenai no Love Letter (Detective Conan: Crimson Love Letter), opened on April 15 and has set a new opening weekend record for the franchise.

Tickets for the Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair will go on sale in mid-July.
