The Touken Ranbu smartphone game revealed visuals for the upgraded Kiwame state of two more characters on Monday.
The game's official Twitter account previously teased silhouettes of the characters in the Kiwame state.
The Touken Ranbu -Online- browser game announced last week that new characters and new Kiwame forms will debut in both the smartphone and browser versions of the game in the beginning on July.
In the Kiwame state, swords get a new appearance, their stats increase, and their rarity increases. The Kiwame state debuted in the game in May 2016.
DMM's Touken Ranbu "sword personification training game" takes famous swords from Japanese history and interprets them as bishōnen. Nitroplus designed the characters and scenario. The game launched in Japan last year, and it has more than 1.5 million registered users. The game has acquired a large female fanbase and inspired a wide range of merchandise, as well as several manga and stage productions.
