Momoiro Clover Z Gets Sporty with DAYS, Baby Steps Manga

Idol group Momoiro Clover Z is teaming up with Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine to promote their new single, "BLAST!" The group doesn't appear in their usual themed costumes this time, instead the song is played over scenes from Hikaru Katsuki's Baby Steps tennis manga, Tsuyoshi Yasuda's DAYS soccer manga, and Daisuke Miyata's August Outlaw baseball manga.
Momoiro Clover Z will perform at Tokyo's Ajinomoto Stadium on August 5-6 as part of the "MomoClo Natsu no Baka Sawagi 2017 -FIVE THE COLOR Road to 2020- Ajinomoto Stadium Taikai" events. The live event is meant to fuse the group with sports, both real and fictional, while the name implies a focus on the upcoming Olympic Games.
The "BLAST!" single goes on sale in Japan on August 2. Momoiro Clover Z previously joined forces with the rock band KISS, Dragon Ball Z, and Sailor Moon Crystal.
