Kemono Friends, JRA Collaboration Short Anime Introduces 3 Horse Friends

The Japan Racing Association started running a collaboration with the Kemono Friends franchise titled "Uma no Friends" (Horse Friends) on June 30. Since then, the collaboration's website has introduced three new Friends: the thoroughbred brown horse, white horse, and chestnut horse. On Wednesday, the website began streaming a new video showing Kaban and Serval meeting those three Friends at the Tokyo Racecourse.
The 12-episode Kemono Friends television anime premiered on TV Tokyo and TV Osaka on January 10 and ended on March 28. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. The anime will receive a second season, but the announcement noted that it "will take some time."
The Mr. Osomatsu anime also ran a 24-minute special anime collaboration with the JRA last December, as well as six anime shorts titled "Mutsugo to Ouma no Monogatari" (The Story of the Sextuplets and a Horse).
If the three new Friends for Kemono Friends aren't enough for you, P.A. Works is also working on a television anime of Cygames' Uma Musume Pretty Derby game about horse girls. The anime debuts in 2018.
