Voice actress, singer, and celebrity personality Shoko Nakagawa is also an artist with a decent knack for recreating celebrity likenesses. The cat aficionado drew the cover artwork for the Anison Academy Kōka (Anison Academy School Song) CD set for release on October 18. The cover depicts Isao Sasaki and Ichiro Mizuki, the appointed "Great King and Emperor of the Anime Song World."

Anison Academy is music program currently broadcast on NHK-FM. Nakagawa hosts the program and wrote the lyrics for the theme with Akira Abe. Michiaki Watanabe composed the track and Kōhei Tanaka arranged it. You can see Nakagawa's drawings of Abe, Watanabe, Tanaka, and herself in the background behind Sasaki and Mizuki.

Sasaki performed many theme songs for popular sci-fi and action anime in the 1970s. His work includes Gasshan, Getter Robo, Galaxy Express 999, Star Blazers, and The Ultraman. Mizuki also lent his voice to popular giant robot anime like Mazinger Z and the live-action Kamen Rider tokusatsu franchise.
