Voice Actors Hiro Shimono, Shintarō Asanuma Become 'Bar Mamas' for DVD Release

Popular voice actors Hiro Shimono and Shintarō Asanuma are crossplaying again for a probable new DVD release. Last September the duo introduced their "bar mama" counterparts at the fictional Bar Anemate ("Bar Older Sister Friend"), giving advice to guests and chatting them up.
Shimono's female bartender persona is Hiro-mama, and Asanuma's is Asa-nee. On the first DVD, the pair have entertaining conversations and interactions with the bar's guests. They appear with voice actor guests Wataru Hatano and Toshiyuki Toyonaga, and fortune teller Yoshiyuki Hamaguchi.
Both will appear at the bar again, and if Shimono's blog is any indication, he'll be wearing a strapless blue dress. Asanuma is also changing out his more demure persona and donning a striking wig.
Although there is no confirmation yet on the details of the voice actors' return as "bar mamas," it seems likely that a new Asanuma Shintarō to Shimono Hiro no Bar Anemate (Hiro Shimono and Shintarō Asanuma's Bar Anemate) DVD is in the works. The original DVD completely sold out. The project's official website is streaming preview videos for the previous DVD.
Shimono may be best known as the voice of Utano Princesama's Shō Kurusu and Attack on Titan's Conny Springer. Asanuma's popular roles include Assassination Classroom's Hiroto Maehara and Accel World's Takumu Mayuzumi.
