Daisuke Namikawa Voices 5 Make-Up Boys for Cosmetics Campaign

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

The Clear Last make-up brand is collaborating with manga artists to create five handsome mascot boys to promote its products. Manga artists Nana Kanō (Jisatsuya Honpo), Neko Toro, Hikaru Yajima (Kanojo no Iru Kareshi), Umeka Kusakabe, and Utakata drew the characters and voice actor Daisuke Namikawa is providing his talents to bring all five to life.

Clear Last's head company BCL is holding a retweet campaign to promote the project. Twitter users can follow the official account and retweet related tweets to see a special video. Five lucky winners will also get an autograph from Namikawa and an illustration by the participating manga creators. 100 participants will also win a Clear Last make-up set. The campaign will last until November 27.

The Matsumoto Kiyoshi Company, the largest drugstore chain in Tokyo, had a similar campaign in 2014 where Tomokazu Sugita voiced seven male "skin specialist" characters to sell beauty products.
