Actor/Voice Actors Junichi Okada, Aoi Miyazaki Announce Marriage

Actors Junichi Okada and Aoi Miyazaki announced to the Japanese media via fax on Sunday that they married on Saturday. In the message, they said that they will continue to devote themselves to their work. According to a person with knowledge of the couple, Miyazaki is not pregnant, and the two have no plans for a formal marriage ceremony.
The pair met while working on the 2008 film Kagehinata ni Saku, and they also worked together on the 2012 film Tenchi Meisatsu. Their relationship deepened around the spring of 2015.
In addition to acting, Okada is a member of the V6 idol unit. He received the Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role and Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role awards in the Japan Academy Prize in 2015. He played Atsushi Dōjō in the live-action Library Wars films, and he voiced From Up on Poppy Hill's Shun Kazama and Tales From Earthsea's Prince Arren.
Miyazaki's live-action roles include NANA's Nana "Hachi" Komatsu, Solanin's Meiko Inoue, and Tomie: Forbidden Fruit's Tomie Hashimoto. Her anime roles include The Boy and the Beast's Young Kyuta, Wolf Children's Hana, and Someday's Dreamers' Yume Kikuchi.
