IDOLiSH7 Song 'ONE Dream' Tops iTunes List

The IDOLiSH7 idols are starting the new year with birthday celebrations. The characters from the series are each releasing a new single on their birthday as part of the "12 Song GIFT" campaign, and this month it was Izumi Iori's turn. The cool younger brother and member of the IDOLiSH7 group released the single ONE Dream on January 25 and it flew to the top of the iTune charts upon release.

The song ranked above Mr. Children's "here comes my love" and Laid-Back Camp's opening theme song "Shiny Days" by Asaka and overall was the top track in all genres for the day. Iori's voice actor, Toshiki Masuda, shared his excitement on Twitter.

The game's original character designer Arina Tanemura also shared a birthday illustration of Iori.

REGALITY, the first full album by the Idolish 7 franchise's in-story male idol group Trigger, sold about 32,000 copies to top Oricon's weekly album chart for the September 18-24 week last year. This makes the album the first one credited to a male in-story character group to top the weekly album chart.

Bandai Namco Online made the Idolish 7 "dramatic rhythm action" iOS and Android game with music in collaboration with Lantis. The player assumes the role of Tsumugi Takanashi, a manager for a new idol group. She must train seven male singers — each with their own individual personalities — to turn them into the No. 1 idols. The game features full voicing of the dialogue by the cast.
